Nail surgery for ingrown toenails

Our Podiatrists regularly perform Nail surgery (Partial/Total Nail Avulsion surgery with Phenolisation), to treat ingrown toenails or to remove painful nails. It can be used to effectively treat ingrown nails, particularly if they are recurrent, infected,  and conservative treatments options have been unsuccessful.

This procedure is a minor surgery performed in our clinical rooms under Local Anaesthetic and can offer a permanent solution to your ingrown or painful nail. It involves removing the offending nail edge and applying phenol to the nail bed to prevent it from re-growing. In most cases there is minimal post-operative discomfort and a quick recovery time.

Don't suffer with a painful ingrown toenail any longer!
